Whether it's your big day or just a day to pamper yourself, our staff will be happy to help you choose the best style for your hair type and the occasion. Hair is thoroughly cleansed, conditioned, and styled accordingly. Scalp Treatment
The scalp is brushed and "scaled" thoroughly to loosen dry skin and debris. After cleansing a penetrating conditioner is applied to the scalp and hair. A massage is performed to help increase blood flow to the scalp and induce relaxation. Heat is applied and after thorough rinsing, the hair is styled accordingly. Deep Conditioning
We offer intense protein and conditioning treatments designed to help heal hair from the inside out. These can be combined with any chemical or styling service. Your stylist can suggest the most beneficial treatment. Hair Coloring
- Semi/Demi Permanent Color is designed to be more gentle to the hair than traditional permanent coloring because it does not penetrate as deeply into the hair shaft. It is a great choice for anyone that may be concerned about the maintenance involved in, or the commitment to, permanent color. Semi/Demi Permanent coloring gradually fades from the hair without a definite line of new growth. It can be used to darken the hair or change the tone of haircolor, but it can not lighten the hair. It may also be used to help camoflague and blend graying hair. Semi/Demi permanent color can also help add additional body to hair without a dramatic change in color. Because it has a milder formula, it can be combined with other chemical processes to create a new look.
- Permanent color can be used to lighten or darken the hair, or change the tone of the hair. It penetrates deeply into the hair shaft to create a permanent change. Because a permanent change is made to the hair shaft, the line of new growth is more noticeable. Depending on the rate of hair growth, new color will need to be applied in approximately 4-6 weeks. Permanent color provides the best coverage of gray hair. It can be applied with a variety of techniques to truly customize a hair color. - Hair Lightening involves the diffusing of natural pigment in the hair shaft. The result is a permanent change to the hair. there are many techniques of application including cap, foil, and free hand application. There are also many types of lighteners tohat may be used depending upon the desired result, technique, and condition of the hair. Your stylist will be able to choose the proper formula and technique after a client consultation.
- Clear Color Glossing contains no ammonia and is very gentle to the hair. This process can be performed at the same time as other services. It contains Lumaplex technology which gives your hair color brilliance, conditioning, and shine. What's best is that it only takes an extra 10-20 minutes.
- Corrective Coloring techniques, and expected results, can be determined during an individual client consultation.
Permanent Waving
- Permanent Waving/Perms are chemical treatments used to produce waves or curls. Techniques for wrapping the hair are determined by hair analysis and desired results. Specialty wraps include "Bricklayer," "Piggyback," "Railroad," and many others. Your stylist will discuss these options with you during your consultation. Spiral wraps are designed for hair 6 inches or longer.
- Curl Reduction is ideal for naturally curly hair, but hair that has been previously permed can benefit from this service as well. Curl reduction can be achieved with several products. The amount of curl in the hair and the condition of the hair will determine the formula used. Conditioning treatments are recommended prior to and following this service.
- Permanent Thermal Ionic Straightening is designed for extremely unruly natural curls. This extensive procedure may take 4-8 hours. Your stylist can give you more details during a complete consultation.
Skin Care - Mini Facials are a great way to introduce teenagers to proper skin care. After a complete skin analysis, the face is steamed and cleansed with brushes. If needed, a mild extraction is performed. High frequency and vacuum attachments are then used to help stimulate blood flow to the skin. This is then followed by an application of pH skin normalizer and a moisturizer.
- Machine Aided Facials begin with analysis using a magnifying lamp and a "woods" lamp to determine any problem areas. Deep cleansing of the skin, including steaming, the use of special facial brushes, and mild extraction, followed by a massage. High frequency and vacuum attachments are used to help stimulate blood flow to the skin. An appropriate mask is applied and removed. Lastly, a skin normalizer and moisturizer are applied.
- Mild Microdermabrasion can be combined with any facial treatment. This milder form of deep exfoliation is less stressful to the skin than traditional microdermabrasion. Dry skin is removed using cream based product with tiny exfoliating granules. Skin will look and feel clean and vibrant. Regular use can help diminish fine lines and wrinkles. While suited best for mature skin, it can help improve the appearance of any skin type.
- Power Paraffin Facials begin with skin analysis using a magnifying lamp and a "wood's" lamp to determine any problem areas. Deep cleansing of the skin follows. While a steamer is used on the face, a hand massage is given. Special facial brushes are used to continue the deep cleansing process. Facial massage is followed by the use of high frequency and vacuum attachments to help stimulate blood flow to the skin. Intensive vitamin treatments are applied to the skin before a light coating of melted paraffin wax is applied to the face. The paraffin prevents moisture from escaping and the heat from the paraffin will help the treatment penetrate deeply into the skin. A hand massage is given as the paraffin cools. When the paraffin is removed, moisturized and radiant skin is revealed.
- Eye Treatments are customized to each client's individual needs. They can help to improve the appearance of puffiness, dark circles, and fine lines.
- Lip Treatments are designed to bring out softer smoother lips. A sugar scrub is used to exfoliate the lip and surrounding area. Intense moisturizing lip conditioner is applied to reveal softer smoother lips.
Facial and Body Waxing
Waxing begins with a cleansing of the area to be waxed. Melted wax is applied to the skin and covered with muslin to remove the wax and unwanted hair. Skin is then cleansed and product is applied to help soothe the skin and reduce redness. Make Up Application
Includes the use of foundation customized for your individual skin tone and tips for application at home. Eyelash Application
Eyelashes are applied to enhance your natural lashes. Depending on the client's needs, strip lashes or individual lashes can be applied. Strip lashes last for a day but can be reapplied for other occasions. Individual lashes will last for several days. They will slowly come off as natural lashes shed. Nail Care - Mini Manicures include sanitzing of nails, filing, and cleansing of nails, and softening of cuticles. Nails are polished of buffed for a natural shine.
- Spa Manicures including sanitizing of hands, filing and cleansing of nails, and softening of cuticles followed by a softening scrub. A massage of the hand and lower arm helps to increase circulation and induce relaxation. Nails are cleansed and polished or buffed for a natural shine.
- Paraffin Wax Treatments help to increase moisture in the hands to create softer skin. Hands are dipped into melted wax to create a moisture seal, and to allow moisture to penetrate deep into the skin. Hands are covered with plastic and mittens while the paraffin cools. The paraffin is then removed revealing soft, radiant skin.
- Soyaffin Treatment can be added on to most services. Soyaffin is an exclusive blend of soy serum, beeswax and shea butter heated by lava gel. Continuous heat dispersion increases the efficiency and therapeutic properties of soyaffin. It deeply moisturizes the skin, leaving a soft, silky feeling. Soyaffin treatments temporarily relieve sore, stiff muscles and achy arthritic joint pain. The treatment also relaxes muscles and increases blood flow.
- Mini Pedicures include soaking of the feet in a warm foot bath. Nails are trimmed and filed and the uticles are softened. Nails are finally cleansed and polished.
